As we kick off the month of March, Saturday looks to stay with some overcast skies in North Dakota and northern parts of Minnesota. Going into Sunday we will be tracking a wave of rain and snow passing through North Dakota and western Minnesota. Southern Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin could see the 70s.

Temperatures will rebound after a chilly Friday and of course get well above average once again by Saturday. Conditions as a whole will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny for the afternoon. Sunday we will see a slight dip in temperatures, but still above average.

After a few spots of the region saw fresh snowfall in the middle of the week, warmer weather is on the way to start melting the fresh snow. Friday, the northwest wind will start to turn westerly which will start to warm temperatures in the region. The wind will also settle on Sunday, making it the pick day of the weekend.

We go into a snow and rain free weekend after this end of week storm for the region. The last of the snow moves out Friday evening, although some occasional areas of blowing snow could linger. Temperatures also take a hit from last week with many of us dropping back down into the 20s and 30s Saturday afternoon. Sunday...

As we head into the first weekend of February, we are kicking it off on a very mild note. A beautiful afternoon on Friday will be replaced with overcast conditions for most of us this weekend.
